  1. sagara-kun scored this whisky 92 points Connoisseur

The sherry is very discreet here, but that doesn't prevent you from having a little marvel in the glass.
Complex, precise, progressive, nothing but compliments.

    • Nose
      93 93
The nose is really very pretty.
The peat is light, creamy, slightly camphorated.
We have a lot of citrus fruits. Oranges, fresh mandarins, but also their zest. A little bit of lime, with its characteristic freshness.
A good meal of spray, salt. We recognize there a nice marine marker.
A little toffee. Light tobacco. White pepper.
      Pencil lead, graphite.

It's decidedly complex, and superbly balanced.
With aeration, the medicinal product takes up more space.
    • Taste
      92 92
In the mouth, we start with pepper, tobacco, undergrowth.
Then very quickly we have an orange concentrate, mixed with a superb oily peat.
It is more concentrated than on the nose, on lemon candy, camphor, Listerine.
      We have smoke, cloves.
The salty side is still present, but set back, on the oyster shell.
      Light toffee.
    • Finish
      92 92
Long, creamy, sweet finish, on cigars, orange zest, white pepper
We keep in the mouth like salt crystals, mixing with the saliva deliciously.
