  1. Xaver did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

He is dangerous. Because one is inclined to take too much swig. Extremely tasty!
    • Nose
Boah .... he smells brutally sweet. Very much and very thick caramel. And caramel. Also in this Speyburn some chocolate and malt. It really smells like a freshly bitten Toffifay with a little nut. Behind it are a few drops of lemon and sour apple meets, in my opinion, very well. But there smells something "old" and slightly musty. Also a bit mineral. Something like wet sandstone. With some time in the glass a smell comes forward, which reminds me of roasted almonds. The alcohol is far away. Just like the oak wort.
    • Taste
Gentle, thick, caramel onset with heavy sweetness. Vanilla and a little malt come immediately and a pinch of pepper. This is by no means intrusive. But makes the story 'really interesting. The second sip is slightly more spicy, but the mineral side is stronger. I can not name the fruit exactly. But more cooked fruit notes with a few drops of lemon. The alcohol stays far behind and makes itself very little noticeable.
    • Finish
But rather short. Honey and caramel sprang up for a moment and vanish again with a bit of bitterness. What remains is a creamy, sweet mouthfeel.
