    A powerful, neat island malt at a good price.
    [Color] straw;
    • Nose
      moderate peat smoke, citrus fruits (lemon, mandarin), malt, trace vanilla;
    • Taste
      powerful, citrus fruit on the palate, alcohol, dominant smoke, yellow fruit, oranges, fresh mint, caramel, tingling, very peppery, complex;
    • Finish
      medium-long and spicy peppery;

    Aroma: very complex, layering one on another, caramel, smoke, peat, malt, rubber, a drop of salt and iodine, some minerality, a hint of spices such as cloves, tangerine peel non-virtuoso.
    Taste: sweetness, burning of ginger, white pepper, peat is already in all its glory, a little salty.
    Finish: the continuation of taste, opacity, minerality, a small bitterness is added as if from a grapefruit, rather long.
    Rating: 87-88 / 100
    Conclusion: one of my favorite tens, I can put it on a par with Talisker 10. I think not everyone will like it, but lovers of peat and islands should definitely try it!

    Grill cheese (provolone cheese), dry smoke, BBQ, some slight mint on the finish. A good balance in sweet and sour. Nice value for money.

    Bold, oiled but smooth whisky. Smell has notes of peat, malt, fruits, wood. Taste has elements of coal, malt, apples and baking products. Taste is very smooth with a long stable finish.

    Very interesting Malt!
    • Nose
      Smoke and peat, later mint, malt and vanilla. Very complex and interesting.
    • Taste
      Smoke, caramel, sweetie. Warm and very complex.
    • Finish
      Dry, light spicy with peppery notes. Later sweetness and an intense long finish.

    Very unique dram, one that I enjoy immensely and isn't widely talked about
    • Nose
      Tarred barley and TCP, really heavy on the iodine notes! Not unpleasant at all but neither for the fainthearted...
    • Taste
      Far smoother and sweeter than the nose would have you believe, with the tar and TCP notes interplaying nicely with the barley and what little oak has made it through
    • Finish
      The coal-gas lingers here
