N: there’s a surprisingly young note to this whisky. This might come from the fact that it’s sadly been watered down to 46%. I detect faint notes of young apples, pears, white raisins? As well as honey of course. The finish didn’t leave too much of an impression, the bourbon dominates clearly. I can’t wait to try it as my mouth starts to water clearly

M: there’s surprising strong alcohol note. Not in a bad way but considering the age and the 46%, I would’ve given it higher volume and a couple of years less.
Well, after a couple of sips, comes an oakiness that the young ones don’t have. But the finish must have been real short. I have am the typical bourbon cask savours that come with such a nice bottling but whatever this white wine taste like ( sadly I don’t know that!), it didn’t leave too much of an impression

F: the finish is medium long. The sweet bourbon cask notes intermingle perfectly with the influence of the age of the cask. It does leave you wanting for more

So, to sum this up: if this would have been a straight bourbon cask, I wouldn’t have batted an eye. I was hoping for a bit more due to the finish. It’s still very good but a cask strength bottling might have been the smarter move here
