  1. Boletus did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

A surprisingly round and tasty blend from the low price segment. Of course you don't have to expect a complex aroma bomb here, but this Irish whiskey has exceeded all expectations I had towards it. With its fruity, light and drinkable basic orientation, it is a suitable choice of drink for a sociable round without great demands.
    • Nose
A classic, pleasing blended aroma without a major alcoholic influence, subtle lemon freshness with the fruity hint of peach and apple, honey and raisins give a lovely sweet undertone, a really nice toasty and vanilla wood note also plays a part, caramel with a slight tendency to toffee , a little bit of shortbread, noticeably malty, the grain content is largely restrained and is only expressed in the subtly hinted smells of wet cardboard and fresh stencil printing
    • Taste
Simple but delicious, at the beginning there is still the subtle impression of moist cardboard, initially crisp fresh grain gradually turns into malt with fine roasted notes and skilfully blends into the basic sweetness of raisins and some honey, caramel melts, a few are released Fruit, a mixture of ripe apple and peach is freshened up with a dash of lemon, the oak also has expression, toasted wood with vanilla, the mouthfeel is very soft without any tangy alcohol notes
    • Finish
Rather short and very mild, with a slight undertone of blanched almonds, the malty sweetness fades away, little milk chocolate and roasted coffee, the toasted oak surrounded by the fruity remains begins to fade and leaves a fine vanilla imprint with a hint of peach emerging from the cheeks
