  1. Xaver did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

    • Nose
Had the 2018er version in the glass

      Colour:
      White wine

      Nose:
Begins beautifully salty and with a delicate smoky note. Lemongrass, salted caramel and vanilla. The smell is very clear and a little fresh from the glass. I mean to smell coconut. Coconut and a little chocolate. There is sometimes a metallic undertone. Here he fits nicely into the picture. If you give the colleague a little more time in the glass, it seems set. Mirabelles, bittersweet plum and nutmeg. From the background comes out a juicy orange. But also freshly sawn wood and something like hazelnut oil.
    • Taste
Salty-sweet start. Again, I mean a flag to taste smoke. Really nice and sweet. Just reminds me of those sour-sweet Haribo gummy bears. Creamy mouthfeel with a pinch of pepper. Apricot jelly and again the fresh plum. Almost buttery with white bread. Vanilla comes after. And now a little ginger. That mixes up the thing noma. At the second sip, a grain flavor becomes clearer. Some menthol. The 58.4% are easy to scour. But also lend a lot of buzz in the hut.
    • Finish
Medium. Walnut brings bitterness. Then again this creamy, salty sweetness. Will be a bit drier then.
