Tasty, just delicious! The nose is wonderfully layered and just my thing, the bunna ties in exactly where the nose stops. Only the aftertaste disappointed me a little, although I have to admit that the reverberation sets in just for the lap of honor and returns with sweet fruit flavors in combination with tobacco and slightly decayed wood tones. A very great and successful bottling, tastes great!

    • Nose
Rusty colors with a silky shimmer rests the Bunnahabhain in the Premium Snifter, on the glass wall many tough and oily "legs" pull their long tracks back into the glass. Resinous spruce and decayed forest soil rise from the glass, dark berries and grapes are briefly swung in rum, then exude velvety vineyard peach and creamy apricot her beguiling aroma. A mixture of bittersweet and milk chocolate follows, oranges and sour cherries rise while a hint of tobacco mixes with a more wooden spice mixture. The cherries become more intense, the marzipan and a hint of mint freshness are minimal. The velvety vineyard peach returns, raisins emit their sweet aroma, cedar wood blends with tobacco and slightly decayed pieces of wood. From time to time, salty and maritime elements flash through the otherwise flavors of dark fruit and decayed wood notes. Sweet and dark fruit flavors stimulate the salivation ...
    • Taste
Spicy yet mild, the first sip flows creamy through the mouth. Sweet fruit components and creamy milk chocolate combined with tobacco and cedar on the tongue to a wonderful taste sensation, voluminous the alcohol warms the palate. Subtle wood sharpness sticks to the tongue, milk chocolate and liquid toffee are sweet, resinous sprigs of pine stick on the palate, sour cherries come up. Spices and a pinch of salt are released from the creamy and spicy wood tones, slightly rancid walnuts come up. Again, there is a touch of mellow freshness combined with sweetness and creamy notes of wood. Forest honey dripping on peach wedges, a few drops of espresso floating on chocolate ...
    • Finish
The aftertaste is creamy and spicy, but unfortunately also a little weak and timid. A fine tobacco note is in the air, as well as a hint of menthol and fruity sweetness. Creamy sounds the reverberation but unfortunately relatively quickly.
