    Tasty, balanced, aged whisky.
If the 16-year-old is more delicate, fruity and floral, then here you can feel the full force of the aging. And although I really liked the 16-year-old too, I will rate this 20 year old BenRiach higher …

honey, wood, flowers, fruits and dried fruits (lots of dried fruits), vanilla, cinnamon; deeper - citrus (oranges, tangerines), sweetness harmonizes perfectly with slight sourness; baked apples and pears, with cinnamon and a drop of cognac. The aroma is both solid and light, pleasant; absolutely not alcoholic.
After standing in the glass, the notes of oak and dried fruits intensify, a hint of leather appears somewhere in the distance. Waves of dried fruits with damp wood dominate, then fresh fruits - sweet hard juicy pears. And then bourbon notes clearly appear, rather in the background. Cool aroma!

the body is moderately oily; at first there is a lot of wood, powerful and noble oak, tannins (not intense); then sweeter notes - vanilla, a little powdered sugar and tasty, fatty dried fruits - lightly smoked prunes are especially dominant; also dried apricots and dates, raisins, dried cherries, smoked dry wild pear. At the end there is also a little astringency of oak, a little black pepper, grass, a little candied honey. Very tasty!

medium length, maybe even a little longer than average.
There are citrus fruits, pepper (a pleasant itch), sweet dried fruits, and oak astringency; everything is very harmonious and tasty.
