Extremely simple, pleasant, with the aroma of honey, haze and baked apples, the taste is barely sweet, very soft, with hints of caramel, vanilla and slightly smoked dried fruit, the finish is delicate, short, fruity-malt with a bit of haze.
Some kind of "girlish" release, too soft and unprepossessing, although not completely devoid of the HP profile. But I would say no rather than yes.

Nose: Light smoke. Hint of new make but in a nice way. Mild toffee and heather honey. Highland Park allright, but a little light.
Mouth: Fits the nose. Sweet and honeyed at first. Then a light spicy kick. Even some hint of dried fruits and fresh white fruits like honey melon. Slight smoke and bitterness towards the end.
Finish: Rather short. A little spiciness lingers on for a short while.  Then some bitter notes that are neither pleasant nor unpleasant.
All in all a rather acceptable entry malt, but nothing you will remember for long. I will properly use this to warm up my taste buds for more challenging and interesting malts.

clearly fruity in the nose than in the taste. A good 10-year-old beginner or EveryDayDram without being overwhelmed. [A banana aroma surprises me in the nose, but still fits harmoniously into the overall picture. Interesting that the taste and the finish then differ more].
    • Nose
initially fruity (apple and ripe banana) and a certain citrus freshness as well as honey and vanilla. Then very light smoke that slips into the background the longer he breathes. The fruity components are then becoming increasingly clear.
    • Taste
first a very soft taste, then a light spice comes along. It becomes creamy and oily. Vanilla and honey are clearer, the fruit components are less pronounced. Very light smoke out the back.
    • Finish
medium to long finish. Oak flavors and a slight bitterness of coffee (dark chocolate / strong coffee) remain in the mouth. A spicy smoke is also on the tongue for a very long time.

Color: light gold, not dyed. The body is not very dense, rather watery.
Nose: Interesting enough, impressive for a decade, and not as emasculated as a 12-year-old HP. First of all, sweet motives stand out very well here, for which dried fruits (raisins, dried apricots, prunes), baked apples and pears, canned peaches, cream, vanilla, caramel and toffee, milk chocolate, heather honey (here it is not revealed so much as in 12-ke). A smoky medical theme passes through these sweets in a distinct wave: a little peat, sea salt, algae, gauze bandages, iodine, pine resin. After the glass has stood and saturated with oxygen, acidity appears in the following features: cranberry-cowberry juice, cherry juice, pulp of orange or mandarin. Finally, one can highlight the bitter-spicy nuances of walnuts and pine nuts, ground black pepper and ginger.
Taste: not as rich as aroma, but soft enough, even slightly watery. Initially, sweet, citrus-honey, yellow apples, vanilla, a fraction of dried fruits; then a bitter wave of pepper, partitions of walnuts, ink and grass motifs, spiced with light smoke of burnt trees.
Finish: medium-long, intense and enjoyable. Burnt wood, apple seeds, ginger, ripe plum.

This whisky offers both sweetness, sweetness and a little overripe fruit in aroma and taste. Compared to the older 12y version, which offered something from everything, this paradoxically seems like trying to please as many customers as possible. I liked the older 12y bottling more.
    • Nose
Sweetness, light chocolate, slightly overripe fruit, caramel
    • Taste
      Overripe fruit, sweetness
    • Finish
      Standard, medium length, nothing extraordinary

Whisky spent 10 years in sherry oloroso barrels before it was poured into bottles. About 10% of the content is distillates, which matured in barrels of the first filling. It is a slightly peat whisky containing about 20 PPM phenols. Interestingly, it comes in two versions with 40% and 43% power.
    • Nose
Sweet, slightly peaty, sherry, orange, sea salt, citruses, vanilla, peaches, apples.
    • Taste
Sweet, mild, peat, mrksa salt, apples, honey, spices, vanilla, light herb, sherry, nuts
    • Finish
Sweet, vanilla, peach, slightly peat, dark chocolate, oak.
