You do not have to lose many words. This Glenfarclas does exactly what you'd expect from the color, age and classic maturation in a 1st Fill sherry barrel and he does that damn well. Whoever gives him time and muse and likes a lot of sherry, gets really happy here. All parts (nose, neck, finish) are at a consistently high level and merge smoothly into each other.
    • Nose
This Glenfarclas is a real sherry board, of course, the color is waiting for you. Immediately sip clear sherry aromas in the nose, sweet and juicy plums, freshly collected high-ripe blackberries, rums soaked in rum, cognac, amaretto, Málaga ice cream, sweet cherries, caramel, a few currants mix with it, some barrel flavor is also fresh Leather in the Turkish bazaar, a lonely dry tobacco leaf, nut mixture, really ripe sweet mountain peach, sweet butter biscuit with chocolate coating, honey, a full aromatic nose that invites you to take a long time to enjoy, there are an incredible number of flavors, at the Its limit to overcharge is still set
    • Taste
really intense sherry at the beginning, a flavor explosion, plum, cherries, caramel, blackberry jam, oak, leather, raisins, sultanas, almonds, honey, at the same time elegant and gentle to the tongue, pleasant spiciness from the wood, slightly bitter chocolate, creamy
    • Finish
very sherry-rich finish spreads very long and smooth again, again very many dark fruits, really much chocolate, oak, raisin, nougat, really dry, a hint of mint, nuts, an idea of orange, cold fruit tea, a finish to chew, sweet pastry, oily
