Marko_I did not rate this whisky

Definitely nothing for leisurely Wegschlabbern, and even the heavily-peated-lover will not find its fulfillment. For the Bitternoten I would probably break any OA. But as a total work of art is quite interesting, fun, a successful, idiosyncratic barrel, but there are single Casks there. And for the discoverer fit in the key data then again the 145 €, I think.

Initially a phenolic disinfectant kick, fresh, cool, pleasant. Then velvety-woody-dry, cinnamon, sandalwood, nothing bites in the nose. With water it becomes fruity, banana, pineapple, lemon, vanilla, everything light and fresh, with a hint of campfire, then mild white pepper. Acts very pleasant, noble, dignified, of "heavily peated" is after 27 years no aggressiveness left.

Here it is a bit "edgier" - the woody is there, in combination with brown sugar, a bit burnt-bitter, bitter citrus, bitter lemon, the smoke goes in the direction of ashen-bitter, then cough drops. So not as elegant as the nose, strong, demanding, bitter-bitter, idiosyncratic. Should one rather leave so, the bittern notes fit somehow good, too sharp he is not, too much water makes a washed out herb bitter from it.
