  1. DocF scored this whisky 84 points Expert Senior

    Color: White Wine

Tasted alongside Burnside 1991 DR and Burnside 1999 AD

The nose is quite unappetizing for the age, the rest fits so far. One, two years more in the barrel might have been helpful.
    • Nose
Works young, mealy, young grape brandy, dry wood. With water: shy, a hint of lilac and lavender. Still very immature, neither water nor time help.
    • Taste
Distinct bitterness, as well as alcoholic. With water: If it tolerates good, less bitter, some residual alcohol, extremely juicy oranges, the lavender is also back. Not profound, but tasty.
    • Finish
Fruity, oranges, a touch of vanilla, a brief approach of sage, later latte. Yeast dough. Unfortunately quickly over.
