  1. dRambo scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

fresh, great nose and quite powerful - I find 50 € for the fabric really ok, rather something like a boring 18yo with 40%
    • Nose
sweet with brutal horny vanilla, crumble apples, plums, oranges, fresh oak, nutmeg, mint, delicate and powerful
    • Taste
sweet full-bodied with spicy fresh oak, vanilla cream, mint, grapes, a little salt, not as fruity on the palate as in the nose - here it looks younger - but delicious and not sprittig
    • Finish
warming, cooling, tannins, spicy, quite long and powerful for the age in relative comparison but just medium long

  2. HunterRomario scored this whisky 87 points Expert Senior

A very strong but well-feasible pencil, moreover at a reasonable price. I am satisfied with the bottle.
    • Nose
Caramel and sherry are probably the most striking of the whole flavor. Behind this, the mint windiness (once dipped), the cherry tree, but there is a bit more alcohol. Also leather and rotting wood. (86 b)
    • Taste
Surprisingly sweet on tongue, strong, and significantly in sherry style. Hazelnuts, cinnamon. In the chocolate flavor, sherry knows them again. (87 b)

  3. schero scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

Very good whisky with great PLV. Not run over by the sherry, but still wonderfully sherrylastig.
    • Nose
Beautiful Sherry, but not completely run over by the sherry, really a lot of vanilla, reminiscent of Vanilla Coke, some strawberry milk, milk chocolate, cocoa, with water, the chocolate is even more dominant
    • Taste
Of course, a lot of pressure, a lot of heat, chocolate, oak, with water, the chocolate comes out even better, much creamier
    • Finish
A lot of heat, chocolate, even with water a lot of heat, oak spice

Good highland NAS. The finish should have been a bit longer, but otherwise you do not do much wrong with it.
    • Nose
Candied apples, red berries over vanilla ice cream. Some nut and almond. Mild spices, orange marmalade. No trace of alcohol
    • Taste
Also undiluted without further drinking, nice warming with fine chocolate and cocoa notes at the beginning. Nut slivers and oranges, deep red grapes, wood, nougat cream, vanilla again, and chocolate on and on.
    • Finish
Medium to short (but warm for a long time). The chocolate and vanilla notes remain until the end.
