You can tell the age. First furniture polish and old closet, then a filigree structure of citrus notes, delicate sweetness and a slight dryness.

Should something like that come on the market again these days at a decent price (joke come out, you're surrounded ...), I would certainly consider putting it on the shelf. Somehow gives a bit of 'oldschool' feeling.

Wow he's getting started right away! Just a cozy Spice Tree from Compass Box in the glass, it presents itself here with a relative bang. A great sour fruit note is noticeable and is complemented by a very intensive furniture polish. Like an old dry closet. I would describe the fruit in the direction of grapefruit. Then you can see dry white chocolate, dried up vanilla and dry orange peel. An overall 'light' and wood-stressed character. After a while in the glass and the first sips, vanilla cream comes through, the grapefruit turns into a sweet lemon. Fancy! Looks a bit classy.

Relatively spicy, it lies on the tongue, then the whole thing becomes really creamy. Vanilla and soft oranges or orange peel combine with a pleasant and really only minimally bitter wood note and a playful honey or light sugar sweetness, which is constantly played out in the background. With the second sip, I have the white chocolate again and even some cocoa. The grapefruit is sweet.

Here the wood-emphasized character comes through again, you can already tell the long time in the barrel. There is a tendency to polish furniture and light wood, which is not bitter and only slightly tart. A little sweet vanilla flashes through from time to time, then the whole thing fades with a dry subliminal herbal note.
