I think the ghosts are different in this dram. But if you remain attentive as an Irish fan, it turns out that this kind of maturation is always worth a try. If then the PLV still fits the demanded price, everyone has to decide for themselves. He is a bit too inconspicuous for me. Under 100 EUR he could be home whiskey

Only one word fits: fruit basket! But really something of versatile and delicious. Do not want to count fruits individually, because he does not have. No dominant fruit, which is worth mentioning. But a tasty nose. Respect.

Oily and soft, intense and graßig sweet with fruit notes extra. So a little the feeling of a whole hand full of wine gums. Really special! Also malty enough to be a delicious Irishman. Here the price does not bother me anymore. But, very spicy. Wood opponents caution.

Medium to long but simple and dry. He stays sweet and does not get bitter. But the finish could be more exciting.

an Irishman who has almost everything for him, for those looking for a signature of this distillery
    • Nose
even sweeter than the 16th, with a stronger return of wood and wine !!
      fine spices!
    • Taste
wood, malt, spices, fruity a little compote and baking on the edge of cooker, then caramelized!
      returns of varnish, leather, dust
    • Finish
not very long, but durable, tenacious, and that approaches for me a blend like a hibiki.

One of the best irish drams available. The finish doesn't last as long as I would like, however it IS Irish so I kind of expect that. It's a great price point for a very good bottle. This should be part of everyone's collection, especially one of the ones that are open. Yummy.

Quite a complicated dram but well worth a look.
    • Nose
Quite a fruity aroma on the nose - perhaps cherry - intriguing.
    • Taste
Very smooth tasting with the fruit theme continuing - I am reminded of red wine and throat pastilles.
    • Finish
Quite a short finish which is a surprise - it ought to have better manners and hang around a while longer.
