- A truckload of vanilla, syrupy sweet, tinned peach and apples. Not my favourite style.
- Solider All day dram
Vanilla, coconut, orange, lemon, flowery / floral, honey, cinnamon, fresh
Nice game of bourbon and sherry, fruity, vanilla, full-bodied, oily
Finish: medium long
A lot of citrus in the nose, green apples,
In terms of taste less fresh than the smell. Sherry, vanilla, dates (?), A tad dry mouthfeel. Overall tasty starter drink or as a starter to start the evening.
Medium long, especially a lot of sweet and a bit spicy in the finish.
- Caramel, apples, lemon zest, spices, oak, cake, toffee notes on nose.
Dried fruits, spices, dryness, apples, oak, honey, caramel and cocoa notes on palate.
Spices, dryness, sweet fruits, vanilla, lemon zest and oak notes on middle finish.
It’s a good smooth whisky.
- A very balanced whisky due to a perfect balance in casks.
Apple and lemon zest, general fruitiness. A butterscotch and toffee apple sweetness. After a while bit more woody. Some tropical elements as well, like coconut and vanilla.
A very soft and corny palate. Malted milk and dulce de leche, also salted caramel. Again woody but with hints of cinnamon.
A very fruity finish, hints of blood oranges. Te cinnamon note of woodiness returns. An ever so slightly dark chocolate bitterness.
