Did Bruichladdich still work with slightly peated laddies spirit in 2005?
In general: I think it's great that the sherry doesn't kill the spirit, but still leaves space for it. I find the spirit with the slight peat note great.
Dry sherry, cheesy, tobacco, sea breeze, slightly acidic, mineral, sultanas, leather, menthol and some sleepers
The Laddie character gets through well despite sherry. For me maritime salty with something cheesy.
In addition caramel, oak wort, leather, cherries, sutanines slightly dirty the whole - the railroad tie (burned metal) easily gets through. As already in the nose slightly acidic and clear on the dry side.
Medium, spicy, maritime, fruity-dry, somewhat bitter.
