  1. DGV scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

Balanced, with a good range of tones. Being in the glass for some time, it develops, discovering new shades in the aroma. This is an excellent 10-year-old fighter who will give odds to many in his class.
    • Nose
At the beginning, a light peat smoke is felt, mixed with bread tones (yeast, raw dough, dried grain). After breathing for 10 minutes, the smoke dissolves, making room for dry wood, apples, raw cut grass, sweet syrup. A separate layer is heard the aroma of cheese and some industrial-sulfur tones, I will call them rotten doormat.
    • Taste
Slightly biting, but at the same time pleasantly enveloping. In the first seconds, a delicate haze is felt, smoothly flowing into a fruit-honey sweetness, and then into a malt bitterness.
    • Finish
Dry, long. Sweet apples, vanilla, malt. The smoke, if there is, is rather phantom.
