Really really fantastic old sherried whisky!
    • Nose
Old sherry. Lightly bitter. Lightly savoury, and a little sulphur. Musty, dusty, and clearly old. Mostly, it's a dry style of sherry and not very fruity or sweet, though there is a little sweet and sour fruit there; oranges. Liquorice and a vegetable-like impression.
    • Taste
Prickling. Dry and a little bitter. Tannins from what I would say is European oak. Thick. . Very old school and bone-dry sherry
    • Finish
Light acidity on the finish. Would have been even better and more intense at cask strength, though it's not lacking power per se.
