  1. sagara-kun scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

    Very good Caperdonich.
Unfortunately I spent a while on it, and apart from this very gurgling fruit juice, I can't find a second reading, preventing me from passing the 90 points.

A very large dose of honey, dosed with tropical fruits.
      Mango, papaya, light coconut.
It's a bit like the pina colada of whisky.
There's a bit of spice, with white pepper and nutmeg, but it's really subtle. It's simple but incredibly effective.

On the palate, there's a little more finesse, with the same tropical undertones. Passion fruit, mango, durian.
We have a little bit of coconut, jackfruit.
Honey blends with the vanilla of the wood.
    • Finish
      89 89
Long, very fruity finish, with a pleasant creamy side.
But also a lot of spices, nutmeg and cardamom in the lead.
