- The first smell that came to mind was play-doh--needless to say, it was not that enticing. The taste provides hints of licorice and mint that helps overcome the initial doughy experience, but falls flat very quickly.
- Bought this malt at the distillery, which by the way is a beautiful distillery and a really good tour. I think i paid £40 for a litre bottle which is a bargin. The malt itself is nice but i have tasted a lot better.
- A nice average malt
A fruity nose with vanilla and a little hint of mint.
The taste is lemon fresh with a hint of lime and for some strange reason turnips.
A medium lemony finish
- N: Malt, fresh, sour, lemon, honey, vanilla
T: Creamy, fruity, malt and vanilla sweetness, some raisins, apricots, nutty F: Short-medium, round, cinnamon, currant
- A bit harsh at first nip but once it's gone down it starts mellowing out. Not a winner but not bad either.
