    What a great atmosphere, palm trees, high mountains, warm evening air, a shining moon, in the background Greek music ...

    I just had greek food, a sweet dessert and 4 raki. So Raki is not really mine, but on holiday you jump over his shadow. I am more like the friend of the matured fires.

    Yes, right, I'm in Greece! Crete to be exact; and I drink a tomato with rum on the terrace
    Finish. Speaking of matured fires, whisky matured in the barrel and rum too - so must the tomatin but enrich my taste buds?

    I can somehow perceive the rum on the palate, especially the brown sugar, but in the end the part is still too immature for me on all corners and edges; and somewhere in a corner is still an old car tire with a sticker: Chew me!

    No, this tomato does not sweeten my holiday. You can drink it without dying - but these tasks were also fulfilled by the Raki ...

    Pear, spices, new wood, dust and salted vegetables comes after tasting. Taste is malty and fruity (pears, fresh fruits) but little bit watery.

    Aroma: sweetness, candied fruit, various candies of caramel, brown sugar, honey echoes, menthol freshness quite palpable, dried malt.
    Taste: here sweetness competes with bitterness, honey, some medicinal tinctures ... Harsh
    Aftertaste: bitter-herbal, basil, oregano, and as it is unexpectedly notes of champignon mushrooms, rather long.

    Bottom line: the whisky is quite interesting for its endurance, few who stand their alcohols completely in rum barrels. The aroma is exactly what you expect from rum exposure, but the taste and aftertaste was a little surprised! Quite a quality product, but probably not mine, I would probably drink a whole bottle for a very long time.

    • Nose
      Sweetness, honey, a lot of vanilla, yellow fruits;
    • Taste
      soft, fruity, smooth onset, sweet honey, pineapple, mango, distinct rum aromas, lots of vanilla;
    • Finish
      medium long, oily, sweet, citrus fruit, slightly sour, in the finish: bitter, spicy;

    From the nose, I had hope, but the taste smashes them - Rumfinish and I, that's nothing. Whereby the whisky does not remind me of rum, but rather fits in the front and back (again), inharmonious, also sprightly, spicy (immature?). Not my construction site, he must probably find other friends.

      smells as bright as it looks - white wine, apple, a splash of lemon ... initially a bit grassy-immature, snappy, adhesive note, but that gets better ... a drop of water tickles out some sweetness, banana and sweetened cookies
    • Taste
      the grassy-bitter and the bite from the nose are there (the latter rather youth than strength), but not much else; in the beginning I have something oily-chocolaty-sweet, but that is quite fix covered by bitterness and sharpness, baking cocoa, coffee, pepper
    • Finish
      long, hot, warm, first oily, then bitter

    the nose is the best, I expected more, so that's not for me

      Apple, glue, nuts, some fruit, light tobacco, pepper, later banana
    • Taste
      light and oily on the palate, pepper and sweetness, vanilla, spicy, slightly hotter from the alcohol
    • Finish
      rather short, somehow does not give, something sweet

    Although not altogether good prey scheme, he was able to take me olfactory pretty good. But on the Guamen he dropped off a lot and did not really have much to offer for my taste. And from Rumfass nothing came to me ...

    • Nose
      First, apple pie in Balsamico Bianco, later dominated by grassy notes next to oat biscuits, honey and lemon. Overall very fresh and pleasant.
    • Taste
      Except for a subtle sweetness with a distinctly peppery spiciness, some oak and white bread ... a bit lax for my taste.
    • Finish
      Hot and slightly bitter, but quite long.

    I do not recognize any rum, maybe something from the 3-year-old Havana Club, but no classic Rumgeschmack such as the Solera Rums (Zacapa 23, Santa Teres 1796 ...)

      fruity, green apple, pineapple, fresh, interesting, sweet
    • Taste
      Young, oak, slight heat, ginger
    • Finish
      Citrus fruits, short

      Sweet and sticky. Somehow it smells like irish. Almost no alcohol. First very appealing.

      In the taste but then neat spicy. Here the alcohol gets through pretty much. Again slightly sweet
    • Finish
      Bah, somehow the departure of the tomatin is sprittig and rather reminiscent of grain
