- Still a modern classic,: it provides a nice balance of light peat and meaty smoke together with hints of oakwood, vanilla, honey and red apples. nicely layered with depth. leaving it standing open results in more of its fruitiness showing itself.
- One of the best core range expressions on the market.
Classic Speyside style.
Nose is big and full. Plenty of malty notes with some raisins and little seas breeze. All wrapped in a blanket of smoke.
Big and powerful the malt jumps to the front and is followed by soft cinnamon spices and hints of oak. Lovely sweetness coming through with red apples.
Smokiness and oak coming through for a medium to long finish.
