This nose is amazing! Extremely multi-layered, complex and full of character, I could smell it forever. In taste and in the end, the Speysider flattens off a bit, with the whining on a very high level. A great and multi-layered malt, I'm thrilled!

    • Nose
Old straw shines in the Premium Snifter, the streaks sticking to the glass wall dissolve a multitude of small and oily "legs". Wow, the first impression is gigantic! Exotic and tropical fruits rise powerfully in the nose, sweet vanilla and caramelized sugar dissolve from the incredibly fresh and fruity aromas. Kiwi, lychee, mango, pineapple ends in honey, bananas, apricots and green apples. The next moment I have to think of slightly grassy Rumaroma, meadow herbs and subtle citrus flavors come up. I could smell forever on this extremely complex and fruity sweet nose!
    • Taste
Mild and creamy, the first sip flows sweetly over the tongue. Grapefruit and other citrus fruits follow, as well as spicy and subtly tart wood elements. A pinch of white trickles on the tip of the tongue, honey drips from the tongue, tart fruit aromas end in grassy hints and meadow herbs. At least, old tobacco and hints of leather are showing, do I taste cocoa and milk chocolate? The alcohol is wonderfully harmoniously integrated, but shows itself straight from its powerful and voluminous side. Slightly grassy and floral, spices appear, limes and abrasion of grapefruit peel distribute their tart aroma on the palate, slightly minty freshness arises.
    • Finish
The aftertaste is initially floral and fruity, then changes into sweet and creamy, the next moment grapefruit flavors and a hint of tobacco in combination with delicate leather flavors come to bear. Honey and a hint of vanilla will be remembered for a long time with fresh herbs and minty freshness.
