- Strong and young, the fragrance, unfortunately, is almost absent, with taste / finish everything is much better, dense and powerful (at first resembles a young rye whisky), but it is poor; for this distillery is very good.
Closed, mineral tones, grain, malt, dry processed wood, light juniper notes.
Powerful, sweet, peppery, lemon peel, pitch notes, hops, tasting cream and ginger tones appear during the tasting.
Spicy, warming, ginger, caramel, camphor, eucalyptus, spicy oak.

- "A youthful Royal Lochnagar, selected by Diageo`s distillery managers as
the best of the year and bottled for staff at full strength in 2006 as
part of the Managers Dram series."
