P: sulphur leads the way with some copper and dried berries, black licorice, salt, menthol
F: Sulphur notes, gun smoke, lead, dry berries on burnt toast. Leather definitely, dry. Tiger balm, eucalyptus.
I don’t mind the flavors, but it’s really dominated by sulphur. I appear to be the outlier on this though because others don’t seem to mind.
This is the first malt where reading other reviews, makes me realize I do have an aversion to sulphur. At first I thought it added interesting notes, and sure, it does sometimes. The problem is, it’s too dominant and pushes the other flavours away. Anyways, goes to show, everyone had their own tastes.
