  1. Falnor scored this whisky 82 points Connoisseur

Nice and light nose, follwed with a heavy and harsh pallet. It could've used some extra years in the cask. It misses out on the 'old' and herbal feeling.
*Edit: after coming back for a second try several weeks later and drinking after a higher ABV sherried one, this cameronbridge was better. More candied old dusty grain, so what it should be.
    • Nose
Fresh pieces of vanilla. A bouquet of flowers or even the nectar. Light honey. Wet cut grass and dew of plants. A little mint and eucalyptus. Some caramels and cane sugar.
    • Taste
Big flavour attack, a little harsh even. Very sweet start with raisins, rum, brown sugar and vanilla cream. Chilly peppers gives it a lot of heat. After the heat, it will turn a little bitter because of the lemons and grapefruit.
    • Finish
Napoleon lemon sweets, sweet&sour candy like the dutch 'zure matten'.
