No idea how old it is, but looks more like a schnapps.

From a distance, it has a nice touch.
    Slightly smoky.

    Not convincing in taste.
    Almost fishy.
    Smells like gin now.

    Yes, it tastes like fish.
    Japanese would like that.
    Not me.

  2. Laird Blonag scored this whisky 69 points Expert Senior

Definitely too young in the bottle. He also tastes as if too much casserole had come into the barrel. Behind the nasty youth and the blatant lack of notes, the connoisseur discovers interesting and promising flavors and tastes. I'm looking forward to older bottlings of this unconventional distillery.
    • Nose
Fruit brandy (and cheaper!), Slightly buttery, yellow pears, angled grapes, foam bananas, light vanilla, a little green herbs, a hint of glue, apricot, wet hay and some almond milk. Behind the nasty Obstler- / Tresternote the nose has quite pleasant and complex flavors. But this fire definitely needs more time in the barrel.
    • Taste
Mild and oily. The alcohol is almost non-existent. Light fruit, cereals, a hint of sauternes, light raisin and Werther's original.
    • Finish
Medium long, buttery, some green olive, noilly prat and soft fudge. At the end a little light coffee.

Good potential, but needs at least 5 or more years to gain flavours and lose the alcoholic sharpness...
    • Nose
      Very fruity and flour-like.
    • Taste
Green apples and light malty notes, nothing more.
    • Finish
      Short and sharp.

  4. Mr.Edradour scored this whisky 63 points Connoisseur

This very young single malt scotch tastes more like a trester or grappa than an whisky, but in my opinion it has potential to be an over-average whisky once it reaches ages of ten years or older...
