Immediately after pouring unripe peaches and some grass with glue. After a few moments, the nose becomes much denser, the glue goes, the peaches are more mature and a good portion of furniture polish lies over it, waxy and slightly sour. Fruit punch and caramel sweets, slightly buttery. After a good half hour of use, the peaches have mutated into compote, the furniture polish pushed back strongly and delicate herbal notes and ideas of wild garlic complement the rather powerful bouquet. Blood oranges, some barrel acid, dried fruits (dates) and even a trace of malt. Exercise makes the peaches even juicier, brings out a few splashes of lemon juice and honey and beeswax are heavy and sweet underneath. Floor wax, dusty cellar. Satisfied, sweet and fruity with a bite, I would describe the nose in summary, while the notes present themselves as a harmoniously connected whole, but can also readily divide apart. After a very long life it looks even riper, sweeter and juicier, but the other flavors are still very strong. What impresses most is this perfect integration. Warm, fresh flavors are added, buttery fruit sweets, pancake with redcurrant jelly, butterfudge with raisins, unbelievable, what associations this malt evokes!

Warm, dense and oily, it spreads in the mouth, all flavors are present, everything is fully integrated and takes some time to be isolated in the mouth around. First different fruits with a little dark honey, then come the herbal notes, the barrel floats over it. Pepper, pleasantly dark, malty sweetness, defined herbs, spices, simply sensational.

Also in the finish everything is still available. Slowly it fades away warming, first with a focus on tart herbs and a pinch of menthol, then it is slightly sweet, in the end, an association of butternut squash remains present for a very long time.
