He's interesting, but somehow he doesn't really know what he actually wants to be. I'm looking forward to the resolution myself.

    Notes from a blind tasting.

25 years? I really wouldn't have thought of that! I would have thought he was rather young.
The more I think about it, the individual aromas (menthol, strong, non-fruity acid, floor wax) suggest that it is very old, but the overall picture just didn't seem ripe to me.

Immediately after pouring it is creamy and light sweet. After just a few moments, the sweetness disappears and maritime spice takes over. Then delicate yellow fruits appear. Overall very reserved. After a few minutes of standing, bright red berries, creamy again, but again only for a short time, although significantly longer than at the beginning. The creamy sweetness doesn't go away completely this time, but the fruit does. Surprisingly, there is (almost) no change when heated. A tiny hint of berries floats in the background, a berry so to speak. Later it becomes quite sour, lactic acid and floor wax.

Also in the mouth there is clear acidity, but also honey sweetness, menthol and a few tannins. Nothing that pushes itself to the foreground seems a bit dirty. in the second sip more acid and menthol, the sweetness can only be guessed at. Significantly astringent.
    • Finish
      82 82
A gentle fading on the finish, becoming increasingly sweeter. Overall, however, it is rather short; the chest area is slightly warmed up. In the second sip it is also clearly acidic. Now there are bitter substances on top of the sweetness. Very bready at the end.
