91/100. Complex, creamy and tasty in the Taste, makes pleasure in the aroma.

without water: fruity sherry. Slightly minty. Cinnamon, bitter orange jam, chocolate, molasses. With 2TL of water not quite 3cl: Sage comes through, coconut milk, fresh oranges, generally less thick-sweet. Chocolate, Panna Cotta. Dried plums. Still cinnamon, cloves. Dried apricots. A little ginger. Great flavors. Dessert flavors, dark to light fruits, rounded off by herbs and spices. Black tea. Mürbkuchenteig. Chai tea.

sweet, creamy, very spicy. Dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, cinnamon. Datteln. Plums. Caramel. Candied oranges. Black tea.
    • Finish

Toasted aromas (coffee, cocoa), cinnamon, clearly licorice. A little sage. Dried fruits sound spicy.

This whisky is particularly convincing in nosing because of its characterizing fruitiness in combination with the subtle dry oak and the certain creaminess. In the taste does not really bite me the slight bitterness, but the malt is here complemented by pleasant coffee flavors. A nice whisky, if it should be fruity and not too complicated.

Dry and at the same time fruity sweet berries (cranberries, red grapes and sweetened redcurrants) determine the first nose. The initial dryness subsides after a short time and softer and creamier aromas of sweet vanilla and sweet pastry notes become more present. But also the berry notes are getting more intense, which reminds me of sweet rose or sangria. In the background I can discern a subtle dry oak and aromatic beer mash flavors, which nicely round off the nosing.
    • Taste
      83 83
The taste is initially characterized by a slightly bitter fruitiness (rhubarb and currants), which is tamed after a short time by pleasant flavors of creamy milk chocolate, latte and brittle.
    • Finish
      83 83
Also in the finish, the bitterness that I did not quite like shows. Milk coffee and Amarettiniaromen can make up for it as in the Tasting.
