    Enthusiasm: Nose 3/5 Mouth 4/5 Final 5/5 Whisky n ° 1718
    • Nose
      Very sweet on vanilla. Very slight vegetal footprint. Berries.
    • Taste
      Fondant touch, well dosed spices. Balanced whole. No demented complexity but fun! Slightly woody on the palate, a little vinous. Subsequently, a lot of honey.
    • Finish
      Velvety, sweet. Increased persistence of spices at second sip. Milky and vanilla finish. Toffee. Honey in strength with the opening. No bitterness.

    complex, lively, very elegant nose that never lacks strength - on the palate he can not quite keep up with the great nose - he is delicious anyway

      sweet, a lot of honey and vanilla, some bread dough, slightly fleshy, old oak, oatmeal, sugar crust, very delicate barely perceptible smoke, tree sap, toasted wet oak planks, sugared lemon, orange, yellow plums, anise, geranium leaves, chamomile, daisies

      light wood, ginger, fine smoke, subtle sweetness, dried flowers, jasmine, chocolate
    • Finish
      90 90
      very round, with remnants of smoke, bittersweet, creamy, waxy

    N: Fruity, bready, sweetish mineral & fungal old-skool number with a firm ‘lick of the cask’ quality and fully integrated smoke.

    T: Fragile yet complex OBE/old skool/old vintage profile, with fully integrated notes centring around earthy metals, old peat~coal and soot. Overall I get a vivid sense of the [airborne & surface] dirty, grimy industrial environment of an old distillery - fabulous!

    F: Light finish leaning vegetal waxy-fresh and mineral-y with stoney/flint & sandy qualities. A got a better weighted mouthful with water.

    C: Various guesses, none a Cragganmore. I plumbed for a 60’s Springbank bottled in the 1980’s. Bygone era stuff all the same, one that edges me close to the emotional realm.

    Matured, slightly tannic and peated whisky with a nice balance.
    • Nose
      Floral. Caramel, honey, orange, vanilla, wine and spicy oak.
    • Taste
      Powerful, oily. Peat, salted caramel, honey, milk chocolate, blueberry and citruses.
    • Finish
      Long, creamy, bittersweet.

    I really like this, some depth to it
    • Nose
      Furniture polish mixed with Turkish delight, this is quite light and floral, faint caramel, ginger biscuit, chocolate orange and cream.
    • Taste
      Nice mouthfeel, at first I thought it was delicate but then there is a wave of caramel and to me some peat ( I thought Craggy was near enough peat free)?Jammy, maybe black currant, salted caramel and maltesers.

    Solid whisky. Tasted blindly.
    • Nose
      Acetone, vitamin pills, strawberries, citrussy candy, mangos, black currant.
    • Taste
      Light peat, liquorice, salt. When adding a drop of water nuts and caramel appear. 
    • Finish
      Liquorice and peat. Smoke from pipes and almonds. The finish is quite dry.

    N: Very
    floral and honeyed. Candied pears and pineapples. Lemon drops. Mild spices like
    vanilla and cinnamon.

    T: Creamy
    mouthfeel. Candied or baked fruits again. Honeyed sweetness. Lemon –almond cake?
     Vanilla, cinnamon and mild clove. Milk
    chocolate.

    F: Simply a
    prolonging of the taste, but with some mild chocolate like bitterness kicking
    in. The wood tannins are very restrained after 40 years.

    It’s a super
    balanced and lovely dram. It will take a little water, but it doesn’t really
    need it.

From three 3 Sherry Hogshead 600 btls. # 1204: 23/04/1966, # 1449, # 1452: 21/05/1966 Cragganmore This is Secret Stills with just the right flavor when it gets tired! Color: The coloring of all kinds of Munmun, which is like this series that seems to be gamble like this series Nose: unexpectedly pretty.The lukewarm soba tea. Or nuance that greasy oil of fresh vegetables became lukewarm Attack: unexpectedly smooth. Body: Loose, but not bad, but a refreshing middleweight.Taste: bad Old Old, squaska's sheepskin, hard outside, smooth in the inside, no strange wig feeling, not bad for aging years Body: From Parr, there is no nuance of the hair that was in the food of the restaurant.No, elegant.Slightly, slightly light (Karakan ).Wet lumpy Umega-branch cake.It is your favorite because there is no condensation feeling? Finish: Vegetable feeling that extra sunny lettuce was unexpectedly tasty, without glue and no seaweed.This is exactly Japanese puns? Well, whisky enthusiasts apprentice the predecessor and remove it?
