    Sample.

I trust Springbank more with a wine cask than I do with a sherry cask, to be honest. It’s either poor cask management, or they are cheap, because many of their sherry casks are sulphured. Probably the latter. And I love Springbank, but it cannot be ignored. Anyways, springbank and wine go well together! Something about the raw mineral spirit and earthy herbal red wine is a good combo. Case in point here. Great little bottling!

Starts on chewable vitamins, dry leaves and twigs in the fall, calcium, chalk. A little acidity. Red berries - almost like a róse wine.
    • Taste
      89 89
Milk chocolate, leafy and herbal. Good mouthfeel. Red berries turn darker. Gets deeper and richer. Still some calcium, but nice and rich on the palate.

Vitamins and calcium back into focus, drying, dark berries turn back to red berries. Chalky. Earthy smoke builds.
