Whisky Reviews for Laphroaig 15-year-old

- Nice whisky, good as an upgrade to the base dozens. Nothing stands out. For my taste, very similar to Lagavulin 8YO
- Excellent whisky, rich, dense, perfectly balanced, the union of sherry and peat in the aroma is replaced by a smokier and more spicy taste and it all ends with an aftertaste with the departure of the main players from the field and the dominance of secondary peat and sherry derivatives, a wonderful composition.
Restrained, dry, velvety smoky peat notes on a sherry, sweet-dried fruit substrate, burning leaves, herbarium, prickly ash and mineral tones, light marine and medical shades, one-piece and perfectly balanced.
The soft, rich, smoky-peat component is more developed here, ash, mineral and marine notes, bandages, sherry, however, does not go anywhere enriching the taste with sweet creamy and dried fruit shades.
Spicy, rather refreshing than warming, ash-peat origin, but in development recedes into the background and appears - lemon peel, citrus candies, orange peel, caramel, cola, creamy notes, herbal motifs, leather goods.
