It is the most complex and delicate bourbon I have ever tasted, and it also has the best bitterness suppression (I personally think that the common problem of cheap bourbon is that it has a strong bitterness). Judging from the bourbons I have tasted so far, I feel that high-end bourbons are high-end in terms of refinement. In terms of flavor, is it really that different from the Phoenix Reserve? I don't think so, which is probably a kind of disenchantment. After going around in circles, the final destination is still the Phoenix Reserve.
    • Nose
      90 90
Mint, vanilla syrup, maple syrup, some salty cheese and leather in the middle, followed by spices such as cinnamon powder and fennel, some almond oil, jujube cake and citrus canned in the tail, and some mocha coffee will appear as the wine is decanted. The depth is good but the layers are a little fuzzy, and it is a little sweet. The alcohol control is satisfactory and the openness is good

Tangerine peel candy, vanilla syrup, citrus cans, leather and a lot of wood in the middle (sandalwood, furniture in the corner, roasted oak), then spices like cinnamon powder and fennel that are consistent with the aroma, some salty cheese and sour dark chocolate at the end, and some brown sugar steamed cakes and sour jujube cakes hidden in the background. There is no bitter bottom at all, can't find it. The wine is light and has a slight tannin feel. The alcohol is well controlled
    • Finish
      93 93
Almond oil, earth, dust, fennel, and finally some brown sugar water, long and lingering
