A very nice balanced full sherried whisky. It is more of an hardy sherried one than I remembered from previous batches, yet I like hardy sherried whisky's! Very nice integrated smell of wood. There is a faint hint of sulpher here, which gives this whisky a bit of an earth note.
Nice! raisins, hint of wood, the hardy side of the sherry is clear. After a while there is the classic sweet an sour going on. But this is a very tasty whisky.
Round, a bit fat.
Medium-long: Again sherry influences, some wood and some hay comes into play. I like this quite a bit.
Well worth it. This is a whisky I will always have at home.
Sober, decent, timeless.
I think this is the best price-quality of the Glenfarclas range, close to the 21.
