    • Nose
Fresh, slightly sour. Dry white wine, sand, loamy soil. Summer grasses, light wood, some disinfectant.
    • Taste
Malt with a subtle honey sweetness. Chili chocolate, filter coffee, slightly alcoholic. Medium.

Aroma: floral aromas, nectar, vanilla, barn with grain, dusty sacking, sea freshness somewhere in the distance, a lot of different nuances and half tones, of which wasabi and viburnum jam, just want to explore it for a long time, very nice.
Taste: malt sweetness, a bit of bitterness from citrus peel, oak bitterness, hint of needles. 50% is not felt.
    Aftertaste: long, mostly taste continues
    Rating: 85
Bottom line: for eight years, just luck! The aroma is just wonderful! If the taste and aftertaste were following him, there would probably be a masterpiece of eight years, but unfortunately not ...

Nose of floral manure (which is positive!), Pleasant mouth, good length. He tells a beautiful story. Good value for money

  4. Issie did not rate this whisky Expert Junior

    • Nose
Pear, slightly menthol, red floury apple, some wood and something slightly sweet
    • Taste
light tingling on the tongue, pear and apple again, mild pepper and a very slight bitterness
    • Finish
      pretty short

Conclusion: no notes but almost a bit boring. Can you have a drink?

Joa nothing spectacular, but not bad either. Just fine, to get a picture of the Brennereicharakter.
    • Nose
For me the typical Laddie nose: a smell of cheese crackers with salt and vanilla.
    • Taste
      Vanilla, lemon, a grassiness
    • Finish
Salt and vanilla with medium-long finish

    Orange peel.

  10. ctu scored this whisky 82 points Connoisseur

It was strange at first the unpeated style, despite the 8 years old it was all right.
    • Nose
Flowers, honey, vanilla, citruses, kiwi. Grape and white wine.
    • Taste
Oily. BIg dose of citruses. Acacia honey, green apple, pepper. Wine and vinegar.
    • Finish
      Long, dry, sour, fruity.
