Orange hue suggests caramel color. Feet are quick and streaky. Hot on the nose, at first. Brandy barrel influence is very apparent and strong, almost overbearing.
Straightforward (read: one-dimensional) vanilla extract, buttery supermarket cake, and biscuit. Mellows somewhat after a bit of time and water, though it can be over scotched easily.
Lacking in nuance but full of forward flavor. A good mixer (made pleasant hot toddies with it) and sippable.
