Really great whisky that is not overwhelmed. Nice balance of bitter and light fruity notes.

A daily dram about noticeably long matured malts.

Sweet and floral, with very light fruit notes. Some honey and dry herbs. This is followed by a sweet note of marzipan and vanilla. Somewhat drier and spicy wood notes as well as fresh sawdust. Slight hint of citrus fruits.

After the first sip, some cookie dough and delicate, nutty chocolate.

Very pleasant and flattering. But not boring!

Bright fresh fruits, apples, fresh wood, floral, pleasantly spicy. Slightly tart herbal notes are noticeable, the long contact with wood is also easily noticeable. Sweetish-tart citrus notes appear after a while.

Overall rather tart and slightly spicy with light fruity notes as a counterpoint. Overall very pleasant and balanced.

Pleasantly tart, dry wood, slightly sweet herbs. Here too: The long contact with the wood gives it a nice dry, tart note, but it never appears intrusive.
