- "the best part of the boot always gets the captain"
- The color is crass shiny copper. And yes, the sherry influence is clear
recognizable. In the nose I have next to a fantastic sweetness directly some smoke: bread on the grill, that you had unattended for a minute. Clear roasted aromas, then something salty added. But always the sweetness remains and the alcohol is intrusive in the nostril. Here is for me a dried sour cherry and raisin clearly. Again, a malt that you could only smell the whole evening - without that it gets boring. In the meantime, he is immediately outrageous. NEN properly neat smoke and then the earthy and tangible of the peat. There is really both here for me. And again a lot of sweetness. Bitter chocolate. But really bitter, at least 80%. Such that makes the mouth dry. Or is it the wood, what comes through here? In any case, which is also nutty, and the fruit I can not commit myself. The alcohol is not obtrusive despite the 54.8% and perfectly flavors supporting.
This whisky stays and stays. Here the smoke settles properly, makes the mouth dry.
