The nose is extremely fruity and sweet. Although the taste is also fruity, it is more influenced by tart wood and walnut flavors. In the finish, the creamy sweetness and the caramel come back to their full advantage. A very pleasant and delicious malt, I like it very much!
    • Nose
Blind tasting: Cool and clear, the blindsample shimmers in the glass, in the bright amber the glass wall is reflected again. Dried berries and grapes rise immediately after pouring from the glass. Dark and strong caramel is traversed by a sweet orange peel note, sweet vanilla and some malt complete the fine aroma. The fruity aroma intensifies moment by moment, sweet vineyard peach mixes with overripe bananas and fresh apples. Oranges, apricots, peaches, plums and a hint of cherries play together and invite you to a first sip.
    • Taste
Dark caramel and tangy spicy wood elements dominate the first impression. Immediately, the entire mouth is filled with chubby heat. A subtle sharpness creeps from the tongue over the lips into the palate. A fine pinch of pepper slowly unfolds its full aroma, tart wood tones are in the finish on the tongue. The second sip fills the palate with dark caramel or toffee and powerful espresso flavor. Fruity elements often flash and exude a wonderful sweetness. The sweet fruit blends perfectly with the caramel and the spicy, tart wood tones, again the palate is wrapped in cozy warmth. With a slight tingling on the lips, the taste goes slowly into the finish.
    • Finish
The finish starts with spicy wood elements and a hint of old walnut flavor. The chubby warmth still fills the palate, the old walnut flavor slowly turns into grassy immature walnuts. Here and there, the sweet fruit and the powerful caramel or toffee, a touch of Vollmichschokolade sticks to the palate. Slowly, the tasty flavors come off and leave a very pleasant mouthfeel.

    Great part! 90 points
    • Nose
Give him time to breathe, then he unfolds his full splendor! Apricot jam, apricot dumpling, orange peel and banana bread. Slightly floral and very fruity-sweet. Honey on sourdough bread. The bourbon barrel had a magnificent influence. Liqueur-like smell, no alcohol in the nose. Wonderful flavors.
    • Taste
Also here more on the sweet side. For some it may be too sweet, honey notes flood the mouth. No trace of spiciness or alcohol, no water is necessary for me here either. Slight frizz on the tongue. Panettone puts you in the Christmas of Italy. Vanilla and honey continue to be dominant. In addition, almond and banana notes come through.
    • Finish
warming sweet and wonderfully long. A whisky made from Christmas cookies.

tasted it while I visited the "village 2017" when maggie miller invited me to a invergordon which I could not really enjoy. so she gave me this one.

so of course  cannot make proper notes here but I remember it as a very fruity whisky on mature apples and pears with hints of tropical fruit, vanilla and a nice bourbon cask influence.
    I really enjoyed this dram
    thanks again, maggie!

An exciting malt. My first Glenburgie with interesting flavors that I would not have believed him to be 20 years blind. But he has too many young tannins, beautiful honey flavors, with less glue in the nose and more maltiness it would be a blast. The finish is very nice. A good and interesting malt. It gains water with water and more flavors are released, especially in the mouth, but it never gets rid of heat. That bothers the enjoyment of something.
    • Nose
strong aroma, some vanilla, slightly sourish, fermented fruit, overripe honeydew melon, slightly dry and slightly mineral with water:
The flavor of the glue is toned down, but still there are not really more flavors
    • Taste
Vanilla, quite spicy, peppery, chili, also sour, the barrel wort also comes out, a bit malty, caramel and vanilla, as well as honey flavors with water:
The sharpness recedes somewhat but never completely disappears, still peppery, the sour, as well as the honey is still there and then comes to a butteriness. In addition, it is much fruity, cooked bright yellow fruits such as melon, mirabelle or peach, where more of the canned peach is meant, but unfortunately the maltiness is somewhat in the background.
    • Finish
The honey and vanilla are in the room for a long time, after which the tannins from the oak work their way into the foreground
