I want to address the nose in two ways: initially after pouring and
after having finished the entire glass for an hour or more. Both are
thrilling and can entertain me for hours. Every little sip is then fulfiling for 10 minutes.
Wonderful stuff in combination with smoked duck/deer/salmon and i prefer this over diageo's distiller's edition anytime. There is JUST enough flavour of sherry and wood in this one already, which leaves the dry nature also just where it should be. The 12yo would be too peated and dry for me.
Please finally loose the caramel (E150) and bring back the proper stoppers of the previous batches (see pic batch L4071xx). That would bring the presentation up to the max in my opinion.
