- hmmm ... that is very pleasing even if he demands a certain amount of attention. The change in the nose I could not understand as my poster. The overall package is correct, but I expected more.
red berries (raspberries); slightly nutty; slightly dusted leather; a little spice; maritime; a salty note is also there; after a certain time in the glass it is getting sweeter; The leather is becoming more and more dominant with time

Nose: First fresh, menthol, nuts behind, walnuts, some vanilla, stinging in the nose, but disappears over time, many raspberries come and alternate with the walnuts. The walnuts gain the upper hand again. Over time, the fresh menthol disappears and it becomes herbal spicy. Vanilla is still there. Slowly begins flow of memory. The walnuts become woodier. Teak wood. Leather mixes with it and makes the beautiful raspberries disappear.
After the first sip, the nose becomes more pleasing. Kind of sweeter, as if the walnuts were candied now. Raspberries are no longer there. The spicy herbs smell a bit like smoke.
Taste: In the beginning a bit woody, sweetness is there, but then again, gummy, somehow wine, but not dry, it tingles, then it is slightly peppery.
Finish: Some coffee, wood holds. Only minimal bitter. Leather. A few gum fields are still there. The Spreiseröhre stays longer warn. In the mouth, on the other hand, it is already subsiding. After a few sips also slightly dry.
Conclusion: I really like the interplay between raspberries and walnuts in my nose. Too bad that the raspberries disappear then. In general, tasting is not so easy for me and I could not say exactly which colors the gummy bears have. The mouthfeel is quite oily and beautiful.
- Lovely nose with all kinds of touches. A bit sad that the body is down to 46%. It misses some power to remain great.
- n: dark salted caramel. it has a coastal side with faint hints of ashes and soot
behind the obvious sherry notes, roasted chestnuts and some earth. I find the oak a little loud.t: juicy to oily, medium strong attack, spicy with allspice and nutmeg.
rather sweet, almost a little dull, lots of caramel and dried fruits.

- What a lovely nectar. Great fruit and spice combination with lingering
leathery notes and a touch of coastal aroma. Big and bold with a
fantastic balance. Another great shot from IB Wemyss!
The nose starts off with autumnal flavours of ripe plum and dark cherry,
along with beeswax and a touch of sherry or even brandy. Polished
mahogany aroma and leathery notes emerge, complemented by fragrant
heather and a whiff of smoke in the background.
Plenty of delicate sweetness here with luscious plums and a touch of
leathery and earthy flavours. Pleasant spice with nutmeg, ginger, sea
salt and cinnamon arrives. Very creamy and mouth-watering with maritime
notes and subtle smoke in the end.
Smooth and chewy with a long finale. Deliciously lingering plums, demerara sugar and a delicate spicy dryness. Beautiful!
WITH WATER: There's less fruit on the nose with more alcohol coming to
the fore. Beeswax aroma is still present. It is still fruity and very
sweet on the palate with delicate and hot spices, oak, pepper and
crystalised ginger. The finish shows a good length with luscious ripe
yellow fruit and gentle smoke.
