  1. magic_slim scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

    Very good old Bruichladdich bottling.
    • Nose
Mellow, fresh and quite similar to the 10 and 17 year old standards from the same time period. Grassy and grainy, caramel and a little peat.
    • Taste
Smooth, light and clean, even a little bit dry and austere. This one has more peat than the 10 yo and the 17 yo that I tasted before. Pepper and a little ginger, sourdough, old bottle flavor - very nice indeed.
    • Finish
Long with a spicy, gingery and peppery finish.
