  1. Bosi scored this whisky 68 points Specialist

Very soft whisky with a fruity aroma. Ideal for getting into the evening. For me, however, a track too shallow and dry in the finish.
    • Nose
Soft aroma with traces of orange and honey.
    • Taste
The aroma is also reflected in the taste, enhanced by a hint of dark chocolate.
    • Finish
      Relatively short and dry.

Apple nose, yellow fruits, citrus and mint notes. Pear, peach and pepper mouth. Final honey. Agitates the mouth, makes you want to chew it. Dilute it.

Almonds.  Lots of them.  Think high quality muesli with lots of the good bits in.

    not my cup of tea...
    • Nose
      Alkoholisch,
      frisch grassig, Nuss- und Backaromen
    • Taste

  7. markjedi1 scored this whisky 77 points Connoisseur

    A spring whisky, very
quaffable. But blind, I might confuse this with a grappa, which is most likely
not what the producer would have wanted.
    • Nose
      Sweet nose on
sweetened breakfast cereals (Frosti) and cashew nuts with a mild fruitiness as
if from young oranges. Orangina, the lemonade! Yes, that is what this reminds
me of. Some caramel and vanilla. Not bad, but nothing close to earth shattering
      either.
    • Taste
      The arrival is soft
with just a tad of spices, although they quickly become louder. Nutmeg and a
bit of pepper. The fruit remains mostly oranges, but now clear hints of Granny
Smith apples come to the fore. It is, however, very sweet.
    • Finish
      The finish is mildly
spicy, but short and actually too sweet to be really good.

  8. Dr.Nose did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

Dry, fruity notes, nutty and some sourness in the nose.
Dry and slight sweetish fruitiness, spiciness and bitterness as well in the taste.

  10. MaltMartin scored this whisky 79 points Connoisseur

A smooth and gentle standard Single Malt with a spicy edge.
    • Nose
Light and clean. Malty and yeast. Grassy notes and hay as well..
    • Taste
Fruity sweetness of pear and lemon. Nutiness. Punchy kick of black pepper and nutmeg. Quite an assertive palate for a standard OB from Speyside.
    • Finish
Not that long. Quite bitter. Dryness.
