    With the rich selection of spices on the nose and on the palate an exciting malt.
    • Nose
      This is spice rack in the nose. Curry, cumin, cardamom, black pepper. Walnut comes with some water. Fresh leather and fine pipe tobacco. Rather an earthy, heavy nose. When swirled, the spices dilute. Becomes a little lighter, airier.
    • Taste
      In the beginning, the spice rack of the nose is first reflected on the tongue. Curry and cardamom remain, also cumin / cumin is still there. Sherry lies down over it, presented on an oak tray. Pretty sharp at the beginning, but that settles after a while.
    • Finish
      Medium long, it stays spicy.

    Nose: malty, nutty dry Oloroso notes, spicy spices (towards nutmeg, cardamom and pepper), fresh lemon and light alcohol. After the first sip, the nose opens and the Oloroso gets through stronger.
    Taste: Heavy onset, malty sweetness, strong dry sherry - like you really drink an Oloroso - wow! Walnut and thickened grape juice with light oak (milk chocolate). I like that HUGE! What a surprise after the rather average nose. This grandiose taste stays in the mouth for a long time.

    Conclusion: Is this still a whisky or just a high percentage sherry. Should others argue about it - I prefer to enjoy it in peace!

    Tasty, nothing for soft sausages, the walnut very much.

      very intense nutty-spicy, nutmeg, cardamom, subtle fruitiness, orange, peach, strawberry jam
    • Taste
      nutty-bitter-sweet, the sharpness keeps in the frame for the alcohol strength, walnut, maple syrup, cocoa, again nutmeg, cloves

      long and intense, walnut, dark chocolate

    Alcohol, alcohol, terrible. Overlay everything and break it up too. Actually, an interesting whisky with rough edges, if not for this very disturbing alcohol, which is extremely badly involved. There are only mini-leaks, Too much of everything. We will not become friends.

      Tomato: A completely different nose, much fresher. Funny, the alcohol is there, but does not bother me at all. I'm not getting it out of my nose, it's always changing. I think so good! Heated, the nose comes to rest, nutmeg, candied fruits and some cellar. [after the first sip] In the nose now also sherry.
    • Taste
      Deft sharpness in the mouth, not unpleasant, clearly sherry, some oak, also slightly acid. The second sip, of course, sweeter, but also sharper.
    • Finish
      Menthol is added in the finish. After the second sip now also herbs. Not overly long.
