Classical Islay, but still a bit different, drier, even if still pleasantly iodine. Very balanced flavor, great piece to whom Laphroaig tastes, he can not be disappointed. Chieftains, and generally independent fulfillment, I will have to try to explore more often.
So here I am at home - clear Islay at first, typically iodine and straw added to it.
The colour is pale gold and the nose opens with ripe banana skin or banana flambé, then iodine and dry peat; the taste brings peat(of course!) as well as sweetness and sophisticated, spicy smoke with finally a creamy, spicy and peaty finish. For me this realy is a Cracker, A Fabulous whisky!
