An incredibly intense and voluminous sherry bomb, dark sherry at its finest. I'm excited!

    23/23/23/22 (90P)
    • Nose
Cloudy and rust-brown copper shimmers in the Premium Snifter, on the glass wall there is an oily streak from which a multitude of thick "legs" come loose. Dried grapes and berries dominate the first impression, caramelized sugar and zest from old orange peel combine with musty notes to create a wonderful sherry note. Raisins and dates, dark apricots and velvety peach, hazelnuts and minimal sour cherries, blackberries and currants, the nose burns a real (sherry) firework. Dark and dried sherry flavors flatter the nose, a fresh mint and menthol note dissolves from an intense sherry aroma, the saliva is suddenly stimulated.
    • Taste
Caramelized sugar and vineyard peach pour over the tongue, leather and a hint of tobacco are added, spicy wood tones stick to the palate while cozy warmth pervades the palate. Minimally tickling sharpness on the tongue, hazelnuts and roasted aromas, apricots and oranges follow, in the background are sour cherries and creamy leather. Sharpness tickles again on the tongue, the saliva is stimulated, the mouthfeel becomes creamy and dry at the same time! Voluminous dark sherry aroma rests powerfully on the palate, dried grapes and berries are added, also a fresh menthol note.
    • Finish
The saliva is stimulated creamy and slightly tart, the dark and intense sherry flavors still stick to the palate, wooden elements rest on the tongue, the saliva flows creamily through the lower jaw. Hazelnuts and walnuts, hints of leaves and leather, with tobacco and caramel. The aftertaste remains long and voluminous in memory.
