Gorgeous, again a fruity and creamy nose! The multi-layered nose is dominated by citrus fruits and sweet fruits. Sure, there is also smoke and peat, but it dominate the sweet and creamy fruit flavors. The taste of Bowmore is a bit bitter and austere. Smoke aromas and burned wood, espresso and dark chocolate provide the tart aromas. A complex and interesting Bowmore, different but good.
    • Nose
Fresh citrus aromas dominate the first nose. Overripe fruits mingle with the slightly grassy citrus note, sweet caramel and a subtle peat note are timid to advantage. Sweet apricots are mixed with chocolate and a pinch of cinnamon, cold smoke is more and more apparent while Kirsch water combines with creamy peat to a beguiling mixture. The cinnamon and chocolate flavor is sweeter and more intense, the overripe fruits are slowly transformed into fermented fruits, a touch of leather and sweet tobacco are added. The cold smoke harmonizes perfectly with the sweet berries and the chocolate, a subtle spicy note lies pleasantly in the background all the time.
    • Taste
Smoky and slightly salty, the first sip flows over the tongue. Burnt wood and cold smoke through the palate, wet leather and tart tobacco are permeated by sweetish fruit notes and exude her bitter and subtly bitter aroma in the entire mouth. Espresso and dark dark chocolate mix with dark wood tones, a light pinch of salt spreads on the tongue, walnut flavor rises while burnt sugar turns into creamy and dark caramel.
    • Finish
Slowly, the bitter and bitter aroma of the taste fades away and old wood tones in combination with creamy walnut dominate the aftertaste. A light freshness increases, mint and a hint of menthol dissolve from the dark wood tones. Dark fruit flavors mingle with dark caramel and dried berries. Slightly salty, the sound fades away slowly, leaving a subtle tart and bitter aroma on the tongue.
