When you open the bottle, you can immediately smell the peaty smoke (particularly strong on the cork).
For the nosing, intense peaty smoke (but pleasant), sherry, ash, charcoal, smell from the sea. After a minute or so, there are more flavors coming out, e.g., "smoky" sweetness, iodine, wood with sea water. The smoke sharpness maintains even after 15 minutes.
Feels much higher than 43% ABV. Strong oakiness first hits. Then, saltiness, dark chocolate, sherry, dried fruit, and the reminiscent feeling of sea shore.
Very long finish, have the feeling of smokiness, wood, ash in the mouth for a long time.
